The country of Thailand is known for its countryside beaches. These beautiful beaches can be found in Phuket, Koh Phi Phi and Koh Samui. Here’s a list of famous sites that can be found in Thailand:
1. Bangkok – being the most cosmopolitan city of Thailand, it is also its capital. One-tenth of the total population of Thailand resides in this city. Major sites to visit are the spellbinding Buddhist temples and palaces, canal and river sceneries, spectacular dance and cultural shows, the ageless “Venice of the East” and tempting shopping districts.
2. Ko Tao – With its crystal clear beaches adorned with beautiful corals, this is no doubt the best place for scuba diving students. There are so many shops offering scuba courses with PADI certification.
3. Phuket – Included in the Phuket Directory of tourist spots and events in this province are: 9 day vegetarian festival sometime in September, Songkran or huge water fight that happens in April, Loi Krathong, a magical festival that is celebrated every November. Por To festival is about ancestor worship which takes place on the 7th Chinese Lunar month. Phuket Thailand Forum confirmed that the Swatch Beach Volley will be on November 1 to 6, 2011. This upcoming event will surely bring more tourists to the country.

I will not give even a grain of second thought if I’m being invited to visit this spectacular place, not only its location is very near from my country but because it’s another venue for my travel passion.
